Good evening East Palestine Families. It's Mr. Neifer, East Palestine Superintendent.
I wanted to share a couple of things with you:
On Friday Nov. 11 @ 9am the HS will hold a special breakfast for local veterans at the Church of Christ. Following that breakfast, we invite the entire district and the entire EP community to attend the Veterans Day Parade. The parade will be led by the band and wind from the EP Library to the school campus starting at 10:15 a. Please call the EPHS Office to RSVP for the breakfast. The elementary school will be hosting their program that day at 2:00 PM
I would like to invite everyone to join us for a fundraiser spaghetti dinner to help raise funds for 2 year old Winnie Vollnogle who is dealing with a recent diagnosis of Leukemia. The fundraiser will be held on Saturday, November 12th from 4-7PM in the EPES cafeteria. Tickets can be purchased at the East Palestine Board office, or at the door the day of the event. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. There will also be a chinese auction and 50/50 raffle the day of the event.
And Finally, I need to make you aware that next week we will be running with 1 less bus and have to consolidate a few routes. Those students on the HS career center and bus #7 route, and elementary students on bus #6 and #7 who will be affected the most should have received a paper today with their temporary pick up and drop off times for next week. I ask that everyone who has a child that utilizes our bus transportation to be patient next week as this sudden change may have an impact on all bus times. Please allow for a 10 minute cushion as our bus drivers work through these issues next week. Thank you for your help and patience. Updated bus routes have been posted on the district website and can be found here:
Have a great weekend, and as always, Go Bulldogs!!!
