Mrs. Cox's class took time today to participate in a fun activity for Dr. Seuss Week! They learned that Dr. Seuss wrote *Green Eggs and Ham* after a bet in which someone claimed he couldn't write a children's book using only 50 words. He proved them wrong! Today, the class read the story and identified all 50 words he used. Can you do the same?

Every year, our elementary students take on the challenge of raising funds for the American Heart Association (AHA) while also adopting healthy habits in their daily lives. This year was no different, as they raised an impressive $4,341.55 for the AHA! Congratulations to our top fundraising students: Blake Allison and Cora Blythe! Over the weekend, members of the EPHS Academic Challenge traveled to Columbiana High School for the MVAC Championship, where they finished the day as Co-Champions in their division! Maddison is now a DSP-I and is almost finished with her 100 work hours in partnership with Threshold Residential Services. Way to go Maddison!!

This morning (February 25, 2025), the fire alarms within the middle school and high school were triggered. Students and staff were safely evacuated to the elementary gym. The East Palestine Fire Department and Police Department have now given the all-clear, allowing students and staff to return to the buildings safely.
