Congratulations to the Middle School Students of the Month for February 2021.

What did you learn in school today? This is a common question tossed around kitchen tables everywhere by parents and their children after a long day at work and school. In East Palestine Schools, we try our best to make that an easy question to answer for our students. Daily, our teachers post learning goals and agendas for students that specifically outlines what will be taught, how it will be taught, and what is coming up next. Next time you are tossing that age old question around the dinner table, if it is an East Palestine student, they should have an answer for you.

Reminder: There will be No School (in-person and remote learning) for CCCTC students on Friday, March 5.

4TH QUARTER LEARNING OPTIONS SURVEY AVAILABLE
The 4th quarter learning option selection survey can be found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1K_U1sVLSlpd7bTMniTYjGzSyBJCu5WEulJHOneL-AjY/viewform?edit_requested=true
Please complete this survey by Wednesday, March 10th, 2021. This survey only needs to be completed if you are making a change from the 3rd 9 weeks.
We know the value of in-person learning and must make every effort to increase in-person learning which parallels the Governor’s message. We are hopeful that as many of our students as possible will return to in-person learning at the beginning of the fourth nine weeks, March 29, 2021.
Our diligent safety protocols will remain in place. During the day all students and staff will social distance, wear masks, wash hands frequently, and sanitation of classrooms and surfaces throughout the building will be conducted. Extenuating circumstances to consider staying in a remote learning environment may include medical concerns (Covid-related) or evidence of high academic achievement in the remote platform.

Over 100 East Palestine Schools' staff members received their 2nd dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Our High School Child Development class just completed their unit on Preschool Development and they were more than excited for the opportunity to observe and interact with our own preschool children! During their visit, they participated in a variety of activities to help them better apply their knowledge of the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development of students at this age. Thank you to our preschool for hosting our "big kids" for the day!"
