Today (3/17/26) the East Palestine School District will operate on a 2-hour delay due to weather conditions. There will be no AM Preschool.

We had an amazing Day 1 at the EPMS Scholastic Book Fair! It was great to see so many students excited to browse the shelves and find their next favorite read.

Don’t worry if you missed out today—we are open all week long! Students can stop by the fair to shop every day once they have finished their lunch.

We are so grateful for our Unlocking Potential Mentorship program at EPMS! Each month, amazing community members volunteer their time to mentor our Bulldogs, sharing wisdom and leaving a lasting imprint on their lives.

Shamrock Grams Are Coming! 🍀

Spread some St. Patrick’s Day luck to your friends, staff members, and co-workers!

Forms will be sent home with all EPES students and must be returned by March 13, 2026. The PTO will be selling Shamrock Grams during EPMS lunches on March 16th and 17th.

Each Shamrock Gram is only $2 and includes:

✨ A festive St. Patrick’s Day treat

All Shamrock Grams will be delivered on St. Patrick’s Day at EPES. At EPMS, they will be given to the students at the time of purchase for personal delivery. 💚🌈

After a long hiatus, the Scholastic Book Fair is finally back at East Palestine Middle School from March 16 through March 20. We’ve missed the excitement of students discovering their next favorite book! Students are invited to visit the fair immediately after finishing their lunch.

Yesterday, Mrs. Peterson’s 6th Grade Social Studies students completed their investigation into the preservation methods used in Ancient Egypt. After two weeks of resting in salt-rich natron, the hot dog mummies were finally unearthed! The sarcophagi were removed, and the bandages were unwrapped. Next, a final inspection was conducted.

Mrs. Peterson challenged the students to find the perfect adjectives to describe the appearance, texture, and, of course, the smell of their mummified creations. It turns out that 3,000 years of tradition—condensed into 14 days—leads to some very vivid vocabulary!

It’s School Resource Officer Appreciation Day, and we are lucky to have the best in the business!

A huge thank you to Officer Mike Brindisi for his unwavering commitment to the East Palestine School District. From ensuring a safe learning environment to building meaningful connections with our students, Officer Mike is an essential part of our Bulldog family.
