The Bulldog Band is back in business! All students should attend; forms (available at the band rm) and fees should be turned in.
Here is the EPHS Band July practice schedule:
Wed July 13 & Thurs July 14 FULL BAND 9am-noon
July 17-22 BAND CAMP @ Thiel College (depart 1pm on 7/17, return approx 2:30 pm on 7/22)
Wed July 27 FULL BAND 9am-noon AND 6:30-9:30 pm
Thurs July 28 FULL BAND 9am-noon
All practices starting August 1 will be from 6:30-9 pm. If you participate in another sport, let us know; we will work with you!
Be sure to bring a water bottle with your name on it to all practices, and wear good athletic shoes for marching (no flip-flops or crocs). #epbb2022 #forwardbulldogs

Good evening East Palestine families, this is Mr. Neifer, EPCSD Superintendent.
● I wanted to remind everyone that tomorrow, June 2nd, marks the last day of school for the 2021-22 school year. Tomorrow is an Early release day. The middle school and high school will be dismissed at 12:55, and the elementary school will be dismissed at 1:55.
● I want to thank everyone for your continued cooperation and support which led to another successful school year.
On Behalf of the entire East Palestine Administration and Staff I want to wish everyone a safe and relaxing summer break.

Congratulations to the Following MS student-athletes:
Drew Bycroft won the EOAC MS Conference meet in Long Jump with a best jump of 16ft 11in. Oliver Sneaker finished 2nd in the 800m with a 2:52.50 time. The 4x400 boys relay team (Avery Klingensmith, Tanner Morrow, Landon Cope, Michael Chestnut) also placed 2nd with a 4:39.40.
Weather Update for Athletic Events 5/6 & 5/7
The MS Invitational will take place today 5/6.
Baseball and Softball at East is cancelled for today 5/6.
Baseball vs. Wellsville is also cancelled for tomorrow 5/7.
Due to the Columbiana County High School Meet being cancelled and moved to today 5/4 due to weather concerns, we have to cancel the MS league meet today 5/4. We don’t have enough officials available to safely put on a track meet today.
Due to weather concerns the MS Columbiana County Track Meet scheduled for today 4/27 at Crestview, has been postponed until Friday 4/29.

EPHS To Perform Musical
EPHS will be presenting the musical production of Disney’s NEWSIES. The performances will be held in the EPHS Auditorium at 7 PM on March 11th & 12th, with a matinee performance to be held on March 13th at 2 PM. Tickets are $10.00 at the door.

The MS girls and boys basketball tournament scheduled to start tonight (2/2) has been postponed til next week. Schedule is still TBD.
On January 27, 2022 the Ohio Department of Health changed the guidelines for COVID-19 related to contact tracing. The guidance states that schools no longer need to perform contact tracing of students or staff after a positive case is reported. Read more here: https://5il.co/152iq
