Any students who are interested in participating in athletic programs during the 2021/2022 school will need an active physical and complete all OHSAA and EP Board of Education paperwork. Please visit https://www.familyid.com/organizations/east-palestine-city-schools-athletics to do this. If you are playing a fall sport, this must be done by August 1st.

Thank you to the East Palestine Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1506 for distributing several mini-grants to our school district worth a total of $12,000. These funds will be used throughout the school district for technology, field trips, and clubs. We can’t thank you enough for your support.

Premier Bank of East Palestine is now offering several incentives for individuals who open a new account. This promotional offer is geared towards supporting our recent graduates. For more information, contact Heather Milliken at the North Market Street location.

A message from Mr. Neifer, Superintendent of Schools.

Operation: Graduation (Update)

No EPTV this week. Check back next week for the last one of the school year.

Yesterday, the Class of 2021 spent the morning at their Senior Breakfast, Commencement Practice, and then they completed the annual elementary school walkthrough. It has been an exciting and busy week for the graduates.

Grades 5-11: School District Technology Return

This week, 4th grade students took a tour of the middle school and met with their new teachers and schoolmates for the 2021-22 school year. Also, 8th grade students took a tour of the high school with the help of some upperclassman. At the conclusion of their tours, each group met with Mr. Schulz, a life coach, in the auditorium to discuss leadership, character, and responsible decision-making.

Alumni Spotlight: Madison Cannon

Several months ago, Rotary Interact and Government students wrote thank you cards to express appreciation to active military members who are graduates of East Palestine High School or who are connected to our community. Four of our students (Jenna Hooley, Elizabeth Kinkead, Madison Telischak and Brennan Bland) wrote to U.S. Marine Gunnery Sergeant Scott Frank. Sergeant Frank is stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA, and he is a graduate of EPHS. He was so impressed by the students' actions that he sent them a letter and his coin, which is a very prestigious token of acknowledgement from those in the military.

After an eventful last week, this week will continue to keep the Class of 2021 busy!
